Rural & Urban Strategic is a company formed by a team of property professionals, each with over 30 years’ experience in all disciplines of the commercial property sector, working in corporate property consultancy and listed property companies and with local and central Government. We have a proven track record in revitalising problematic property portfolios. This team has come together to try to help organisations, both private sector and public sector organisations, with a particular specialism in working in local authority partnerships who are experiencing difficulty in delivering their strategic objectives.


We aim to deliver value-add for clients using our intrinsic understanding of problems, and to deliver economic solutions that are the best option for you and your community. In particular, we will ensure that you will always retain control and we will ensure that your original objectives are truly delivered. We have three business models that could be deployed: 


Consultancy

(Our preferred option) we come in and sort out the troublesome parts of your portfolio, for a monthly retainer. This may, or may not, include milestone payments for agreed targets achieved.



Joint Venture

We can offer the ability to JV sites, where you retain ownership of the land (or other asset) and we deliver for you. We do this at our own risk, which would be reflected in an agreed profit share at delivery or sale point.


Investment

(More rarely) we have the ability to buy you out of the site, wither immediately or at a time that suits you best. We have a panel of investors with access to funds.
